RTI International has a broad international experience developing sustainable, scalable solutions within existing frameworks. They help countries establish and leverage broad stakeholder partnerships to coordinate and maximize resources. RTI International’s sound approach to monitoring and evaluation provides critical information for measuring and communicating project results and impact.

The Health Information Systems (HIS) program, within the Research Computing Division of RTI International, works with communities around the world to strengthen their health information systems‘ structures in order to increase access to high-quality health data for patient care and health policy decision-making.

RTI in the Digital Health Community

RTI International specializes in digital health global goods, such as:

  • DHIS2: Configuration and rollout of national health information systems, District Health Information System 2 (DHIS).
  • EHR: Development of Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems, to capture complete patient health data for the continuum of care.
  • LIS: Integration of Laboratory Information Systems (LISs) to streamline sample management and rapidly deliver results.
  • CS: Development of frontline case management systems, Coconut Surveillance (CS), for community-level case reporting and follow-ups.
  • DSS: Integration of disease surveillance systems (DSSs) for timely detection of events and outbreaks
